BRIEF HISTORY
The Naval Social Club opened on 1st March 2005 after lots of hard work and fund-raising by RNA Members who transformed an old dance studio/storeroom into a plush social club. We were one of the first clubs in the area to be non-smoking although prior to the ban enforced on 1st July 2007, we did provide a seperate outside room for smokers. We built up a loyal group of members starting with Bingo on a Friday Night which is still very successful. Saturday evening is usually entertainment evening with lunchtimes more for a social drink and chat. |
