Who are we??
Redditch Animal Rights was formed in January 2002 to campaign for a better life for abused, neglected and exploited animals. We are a small group of ordinary people who are sick of the amount of cruelty inflicted on our fellow creatures. We believe that no animal should suffer for our wants & needs so we campaign in Redditch to draw attention to the needless suffering of millions of animals in the meat industry, the fur trade, vivisection, hunting, circuses etc
Regular demonstrations, leaflet stalls & meetings take place in Redditch and we often join other groups in the Midlands and across the country to form larger protests. Demos come in all shapes and sizes so theres something to suit everyone. Anything from a few people leafletting outside McDonalds to 1,000 anti vivisection protesters marching through Cambridge City Centre! Coach and minibus transport often travels from Redditch to a variety of events.
Many people in Redditch AR can`t join us on demos due to other commitments such as work, family etc. but they support us in other ways. They write letters, send emails, help with fundraising or donate towards our campaigning. There`s something everyone can do whether old or young.
