DAVID QUIGLEY : Piano
This will be David's third visit to the Society. He is now firmly established on the international circuit with concerts in all the leading European concert halls and recently American ones too. He will play Beethoven's Sonatas No 3 in C minor and No 2 in C# minor (Moonlight) Schumann's Papillons. Chopin's Nocturne No2 in Db and Barcarolle Op 60, two Gershwin songs arr. Grainger and Philip Martin's Three Jazz Pieces.

TRAVELLING BY TUBA Chris Cranham : Tuba Stuart Death : Piano
This is a unique duo who perform a stunning innovative programme, not just a tuba recital. With an innumerable array of wind and brass instruments, they have the ability as irrepressable entertainers to communicate with their audiences. Formed in 1991 they perform all over the UK and have toured Europe, Canada and America. Hear how Brahms, Mozart, Bach and others may have written for the tuba plus original compositions, piano solos and jazz on the sousaphone.
