Alvechurch Scottish Dancing Club

We are a small friendly group of people from Alvechurch, Bromsgrove, Redditch and South Birmingham who meet every week from September to May to learn and dance a wide variety of Scottish dances both old and new. The group has been in existence for over thirty years under the expert guidance of Joan Williams. Members of the group regularly go to social dances of other Scottish dance groups in the area throughout the year. We are looking for new members to join us – young or old or in between. It doesn’t matter whether you come alone or with a friend or partner you will be very welcome. So, if you would like to get some exercise while having fun, <b>why not come along and join us? When? Tuesdays 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. September to May. Where? Hopwood Village Hall (off Junction 2 of M42, just north of the Westmead Hotel, marked as 'Hotel' on the map below).
