Stourport Bowling Green Club
 | Welcome to Stourport Bowling Green Club
Stourport Bowling Green Club is situated in a quiet spot off the town's High Street, and owes it existence to a meeting held in 1853, which established the Swann Inn Quoit Club.
During the next 150 years the Club evolved, becoming Stourport Quoit Club in 1869, with Bowling Green being added in 1870, and finally becoming Stourport Bowling Green Club in 1923.
With a current membership of 102, the club has three teams in the Kidderminster Mid Week league, and a team in the Thursday afternoon league, five teams in the Kidderminster Triples League and also has a thriving Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon bowling section.
During the season the Club runs a number of rink competitions for members, and continues to run the Presidents Cup, with the first winner recorded in 1904.
The latest change saw the green being brought up to rink bowling standard, which enabled the club to apply for Worcestershire Bowling Association membership. This was granted in December 2004. The club now has a full programme of friendly and competiive rink fixtures.
