Club Competitions 2006
The club runs a number of competitions throughout the season starting in May and finishing in September. All competitons are only open to club members.
The Lord Ednam Trophy, sponsored by the Club is open to anyone from the area and is played in July. Games are played 15 up in an open green format, except the Lord Ednam, in which early rounds are played in rinks and open green from the quarter finals onwards. The final is 21up.

The May Day Shield was presented by J & W Bodfish in 1978

Mens Singles
The Mens Singles Cup was donated in 1923, first won by Mr L.P. Vernon the trophy is a Replica of West of Ireland Championship Cup

Ladies Singles
The trophy for this competition was presented by Olga & Ray Barnett (Former President and Treasurer) and is called The Olga and Ray Barnett Challenge Vase

Open Doubles
The Open Doubles Cup was presented by Ansells Ltd to the Club in 1976 and was first played for in 1977

Presidents Cup
The Presidents' Cup was first won by Mr D. C. Martin in 1904.

Ladies Doubles
The Lorna Williams Cup was presented to the Club for competition in Ladies Doubles in 1990 by Mr Ted Williams a former President of the Club on the death of his wife Lorna.

Mens Doubles
This Cup was donated by Ansells Ltd for competition in 1974

The Fours Shield
This shield was presented to the Club by David Beaumont a former President and long standing Treasurer.

Triples Shield
Mr B.J. Matthews a former President and his wife Mrs J Matthews presented this shield for competition in 1979.

Open Singles
This trophy was first payed for in 1984 and is the Himley Steels Shield.

Floodlit Pairs
This competition is a relatively new event for the Club and takes place at the end of the season accompanied with a Bar-B-Que. Everyone enjoyed themselves.
