1ST RACE MEETING 2008 RESULTS

WWRC held its 1st race meeting of 2008 today.

The first race was the Scratch race and after a hicup when the lure stopped just 10 yards from the traps, (therefore creating a re run) racing got under way with a win for Nick's Where is the Love, leading from the traps, 2nd was Tina & Tony's Maddas and 3rd was Nick and Maria's Choose Me.

Next up was the handicap racing with heat 1 going to Kev & Georginas Minty 23lb 2nd was Maria & Nick's Veuve Cliquot 29lb Heat 2 winner was Mark & Andrea's Kinky Boots 17lb 2nd was Nick & Maria's And Me 25lb.
This then made a four dog final, which took place after many trails
It seems everyone has a pup they need to train or a dog that need schooling, one lady had 8 dogs to trail! Still this is what makes a strong club and what clubs should be used for, with everyone helping each other.

A Final then took place with the winner being Minty, 2nd Veue Cliquot 3rd Kinky Boots and 4th And Me.

Some close races and the weather was dry until we had finished racing so a nice morning out.
