Now that the lighter nights are here racing will now take place mid week, usually a Wednesday evening weigh in 6.30-7.00 pm, but for this week due to other commitments we met on Thursday night.

Two main races but lots of trails and practice for pups and a new member.

Racing tonight was over 160 yards.

1st race of the night was the Scratch Race with a close finish between Nick, Pauline & Toria's Demonic Love, Pat & Bob's Our Ebby and Mick & Kim's Moonwalker.

1st was Demonic Love 2nd Our Ebby and 3rd Moonwalker.

A final next with a good win to Stuart's pup, Just A Double 15-2 (she gets a 2 yard uplift for being a pup under 12 months of age) 2nd was Kim & Micks Free Spirit 26, 3rd Mark & Andreas Fill Ur Boots 18 and 4th place was their other dog Kinky Boots 21 (who weighed in at 20lb received -2 yards for each year over 5 being a veteran and then +3 yards for winning the final the other week)

Trails then took place with new member Shona giving her Beddy X called Rowan a run. Tina & Tony Bowen put in an appearance tonight (1st time after Tina's illness) and trailed their pup Kit who took to chasing the lure really well, as he also took to going in a trap for the 1st time. Mark & Andrea also brought Louie (their pup who did a Tibia Crest injury) he looked really well and was keen on the lure when the dogs were racing.

Busy night with everyone working together to make an enjoyable meeting, with the track looking superb, due to bing looked after so well by the Groundsman. Thanks James!
