Two of kidderminsters amateur football clubs have agreed to join together to form one team for the forthcoming season.Wyre Forest f.c and Brintons f.c have put past rivalry behind them largely due to the fact that neither team would have survived another season as players were thin on the ground. Not enough young talent was emerging to make up decent squads for either team, so the only answer was to form one team from the two existing. A pre-season get together was arranged and the interest shown by players,backroom staff and neutrals was encouraging. Joe Wassell has been appointed manager with his brother Jack his assistant. Terry Salters will be club chairman,with his right hand man being Graham (chaddy) Chadbourne. This looks like it could be a memorable first season, so come on wyre forest brintons.
