1st Drill: Hose Running
| The first drill shows hose running, one of the first skills a Firefighter learns. |  |

2nd Drill: Angel Falls
| The second drill demonstrates the leg lock taken up whilst working off a ladder, this prevents a Firefighter from falling. |  |

3rd Drill: Simulated Car Fire
| This drill demonstrates the use of hose reels as the first line of defence against a fire. The car was driven by the father of a Young Firefighter, and the smoke and fireworks were detonated by an older member of the group. |  |

4th Drill: Simulated House Rescue
| This drill shows the use of Breathing Apparatus and hose reels in a house fire situation. |  |

Grand Finale
| The grand finale demonstrates the use of hose reels, jets and the curtain spray. |  |

The inspection
Following the parade where the Young Firefighters demonstrate the skills they have learnt, they parade and are inspected by a senior Fire Brigade officer, after which they are presented with their certificates.
