New scheme in Kidderminster
The British Red Cross are looking for young people aged between 13 and 25 to join a new scheme in the Horsefair / Broadwaters area of Kidderminster.
Young befrienders will offer advice & support to other young people who are going through a difficult period in their lives.
We hope to attract about two young people from all of the local youth groups eg. Scouts, Guides and church groups etc. We will then train these young people so that other youngsters in their group know they can seek assistance from them during a difficult time. |

Young people in Herefordshire & Worcestershire can now seek advice and support from people of a similar age.
If you are going through a difficult period and do not want to talk to someone face to face then this scheme can help.

You will get a reply within 3 days and also signposted to other agencies and support groups who might also be able to help.
