"Beyond Byrd and Palestrina" will work in the context of music by Verdelot, De Monte and Phinot, tackling the thorny issues of musica ficta and word underlay. Music is available free of charge for the day, which will be of interest to singers and choir directors. Lunch is available by arrangement with Fred's Bakery at about £2.
