British Sugar Captain Wayne Bellerby wins the toss and lets Ovington bat from which they got a blistering start from openers Phil Jones and Andy Heaton. Then a change of bowling brought on Paul Wynn who contained Ovingtons' partnership.This was maintained with the help of Wayne Bellerby and between the 4 bowlers the first half ended with Ovington reaching 156-9.
The second half began with an opening partnership between Clive Heaton and Simon Taylor,who slowly progressed with Simon Taylor being run out.Then the introduction of Scott Bellerby followed by Paul Mahoney saw the Sugar runs slowly progressing. After losing 2 wickets it was the turn of Mark Bellerby to help bump up Sugars total by reaching a 100 run partnership with Clive Heaton.Clive, 1 run short of his 50 was caught by mid off to end his innings.Then came Steve Bellerby, and between them the brothers reached the winning score.
