WORSHIPPING, STUDYING AND WORKING TOGETHER FOR CHRIST
 We are a group of Christians, members of our local churches and representatives of our own church traditions, who wish to proclaim the unity Christ brings to us as those who love and serve Him.
We meet together regularly to arrange times for Worshipping together, to organise opportunities for Studying together and to Work together in proclaiming the Gospel of Christ.
We represent the following churches:-
The Bar Convent English Martyrs' - Roman Catholic Holy Trinity, Micklegate - Anglican St. Chad's - Anglican St. Clement's - Anglican St. Columba's - United Reformed Church St. Mary's, Bishophill Junior - Anglican Southlands - Methodist
We would be very happy to welcome representatives from any other Christian groups in SW York.
CTSWY MISSION STATEMENT - July 2004
We as part of Churches Together in SW York agree:-
a) To encourage friendship, love, respect and mutual support for one another.
b) From time to time to worship together, to study together, to witness together and to pray together.
c) To remain open to working together on social action projects or other projects as seem right at the time bearing in mind that we should never do alone what we could do better together.
d) To remain open to links with other church groupings.
e) To play a full part in the ecumenical life of York and North Yorkshire.
