COUPLAND

I have been trying to trace my Family tree for some years,and have identified all my Direct COUPLAND ancestors from 1739 to the present date.

The bulk of them lived in and around Great and Little Ouseburn, from 1739 to 1996. Prior to 1739, there were many generations of COUPLANDS living in Easingwold, from around 1600 to 1700. I believe there may be a link but have not yet been able to establish that the Easingwold COUPLANDS were related to the Ouseburn ones.Some of my Great Great Grandfathers children moved to and lived in YORK in the 1860's. Two of my Ancestors married into the MASTERMAN family of YORK.
