Practice in English Conversation for Speakers of Other Languages
 | We are a voluntary group offering practice in English conversation to women from all over the world resident in York who do not speak English as a first language. We meet every Friday during school terms from 9:30 to 11:15am at the Friends Meeting House, Friargate York.
We charge £1 per session. Tea or coffee available: 50p. Pre-school children are welcome.
We offer a friendly environment for women to make friends and practice their English skills.Special events include a party at New Year and a summer bus trip.
