Hamilton Panthers F.C. History

Hamilton Panthers was formed on the 19th August, 1988 at a meeting held at the Puss \'n\' Boots public house.

The founding committee consisted of:- Phil Sanderson - Chairman, Graham Petch - Secretary/Treasurer, Pete Miller - Manager/Coach, Debbie Miller, Trev Day, Kath Day and Marina Petch.

The name was derived from the location of the founding meeting on Hamilton Drive. The logo was originally drawn by a tattoo artist and when funds became available was given professional treatment by a Graphic Designer, Martin Sanderson.

Since that initial season the club has gone from strength to strength and currently has 13 junior teams and 1 senior.

Over the years Hamilton Panthers have been recognised as producing good footballing sides which play the game in the correct manner. The club has a tradition of providing facilities for young players to come and enjoy football.

The clubs constitutional aims are to provide Association Football for its members and such social and recreative pursuits as may be deemed desirable by the committee and to improve the personal skills of playing members and further the interest of the game of football.
