Air Family Tree

I have decided to research my family tree. I am interested in any information on the Air family of York. The Air family were will known around York and had business i.e Coal Merchants, Boat Builders and Publicans. All were Freeman of the City. My Grandma Rose Potter lost her mother Alice Air in 1918. My Grandma`s grandparents James Henry Air lived in Clementhorpe in a large house which has now been knocked down to retreive a Roman Mosaic floor. James Henry Air married Sarah Ann Hick at St. Mary Church Bishophill Senior in 1882. Unfortunatly James and Sarh only had 1 boy who has since died with no dependants so the surname of Air has since disappeared.
