BAPTISM, CONFIRMATION AND ENQUIRIES

If you or your children would like to be baptised or confirmed into the Christian faith, or simply to know more about Jesus Christ and what Christians believe, please speak to the Rev Diane Westmoreland.

PRAM SERVICE

This begins at 10.00 am during term time on Wednesdays in St John's Church. Pre-school children, their parents, grandparents and carers meet in church with songs, stories and activities for the children; followed a chance to chat. There is no waiting list and all are welcome.

FREE SPIRITS

Every Friday during term time "Free Spirits", for primary school children, meet in the Junior School from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Places are limited and there is a waiting list to which your child / children can be added. Please phone Katie Robinson (373601)

SUNDAY SCHOOL

On the 2nd and 4th Sunday children of primary school are invited to come with their parents and family to the 10.45 am service and spend part of their time with their own childrens' service in the vestry, with activities. They will then either rejoin participating parents in the main service at the Communion, or be collected by parents at 11.50 am at the Church door.

YOUNG PEOPLE TOGETHER: YOUTH GROUP, OASIS AND G2

The younger group (Year 5 to 7) meet during term time from 5.45 pm to 7.00 pm on alternate Fridays usually starting in St John's. Please phone Andrea Palin (371461)
OASIS (Year 8 and 9) and G2 (Year 10 and up) meet monthly on Fridays in St John's for a chat and to "chill out". Please phone the Rectory.

SPORT FOR FUN

This group meet once a fortnight during term time, on the opposite Friday to the Youth Group. The first session (6.00 pm to 7.00 pm) is for all the girls, plus the boys up to Year 6. The second (7.00 pm to 8.00 pm) is for boys from Years 7 to 11. They meet in the Sports Hall. It costs £2 per player per session. These are open to all who attend Youth Group, Oasis or G2 . MOTHERS' UNION

Members meet on the fourth Thursday of the month at 2.00 pm in the Common Room at Kings Garth for a short service followed by a meeting, often with a guest speaker. New members and visiting members are always welcome. Please phone Irene Keeling (373140) for further information.

ST JOHN'S SINGERS

This is a small group of enthusiastic people of all ages who practice fortnightly new hymns and songs which they sing on their own as a group or to lead the congregation. New members are always welcome. Please phone Alan Real (372033) for further information.

CHURCH OF ENGLAND SERVICE AT THE MANOR HOUSE

A service is held on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month starting at 10.30 am. All are welcome.
