During the war none of us girls could afford the uniforms as everthing was 'rationed' then and times were hard.This must have been taken after the wars end as we are in uniform - although 'Ration Coupons' were still on the go then .

We met regulary at the Old Church Hall.


In this photo there are two WW2 evacuee's Jenny Watson was one of them - the other unknown.
