NOSTALGIC SANTIAGO
 | After 70 years, the city suffered a dramatic transformation. About the 30's the city was more european. Also the individuals were living in such mood, but after the first and the second World War, Chile begun looking to the "American way of live" That period continue to day and will continue for many years.

 | This is the main Capitol Temple. It is sited at the "Plaza de Armas" a central park.
The picture was taked about 1930 and we can see the tranvias, runnig the city and the famous "Gondolas" a tyical and pintoresque way of transportation of the old Santiago. |

THE TRAIN STATION
 | The main Santiago Train Station is Estacion Central, which is sited over the Alamaeda de las Delicias to day called Alameda Bernardo O'Higgins.
From here many trains departure to the south. Not other trains are travelling to day to the northern region of the country.
Im the old times there were a train from Santiago to Antofagasta and to the others septemtrional stations.
