LOS CERROS DEL PUERTO
 Valparaiso is a vertical city. The plane is not too big, so the people was searching for more space were to built his houses. They founded that space on the hills. There are many hills in the port and each has his own name.
Until 1883, to going up the hills was necesary to use "Las Escaleras". Thousand of "escaleras" exist in Valparaiso. Some little, other long and some very very long.
In 1883 was installed the first elevator. Today many of this funicalars have disapear. Only 15 of them are still working on tjat eternal up and down the hills.
To going up the hills or to going down was ever a authentical adventure. Some time we can see many cats playing around. Another, is posible to look at the port from many diferent altitudes, discovering a new ship sited at the bay, or be aware of some beautifull and singular ligth reflection on the sea.

of sentimental expresion. Some of this houses have more than hundred years od, and the remembrances of the people who lived inside seem to be alive.

 | Valparaiso inhabitants are moyoritary poor peoples. They live in a subdevelopment country and the individuals have a very short imcom.
Sometime, from a window of an old building we can see traces of that limited economy. People live withow the materia vantage another development countrys has.
Hoewer, Valparaiso inhabitants are happy with things money can't buy. They have the inspiration gived to them by the all natural elements, included the sea, the free air and the sublim sky.
