Pickering Methodist Circuit

Pickering Methodist Circuit is the group of sixteen Methodist churches centred on the busy market town of Pickering in North Yorkshire. We reach from the village of Rosedale in the North, nestling in valleys on the Southern slopes of the North York Moors, to Brawby in the South, in the middle of the broad Rye valley, and from Sinnington in the West, half-way between Pickering and Kirkbymoorside, to Ebberston in the East, on the road to Scarborough. The circuit covers some of the most beautiful Yorkshire countryside, and some very attractive villages.

Our churches include tiny village chapels and larger churches in Pickering and Thornton-le-Dale. We offer a range of styles of worship, from the traditional to the more adventurous, from the simple and familiar Methodist preaching service to more formal communion services and informal all-age worship. Several of our churches have midweek groups for fellowship and discussion. We aim to provide something for everyone.
