Amazing cover in German auction

I'm sure that few of us have come across a cover like this one which is currently being offered in the latest "Hobbyphilatelie" auction in Germany (lot 30662 - auction 58)

Straight line Herbertshohe cancellation

This lovely WW1 cover is currently available in the Grosvenor Auction (Nov 2003). Here's their description:

New Guinea: 1915 censored cover from the Rev. Mayettes, New Britainto Sydney franked by Australia O S perfin 1/2d., 2d., tied by two strikes of straight line “Herbertsöhe” in violet with additional strike beneath censor’s red ms. notation at left, minor creasing but a scarce cover from the short period before the availability of overprinted stamps.

Estimate is £800/£1000

N.W.P.I. opt on Kangaroo Second Wmk 2½d Indigo, (SG 87)

February 2007.

The recent Millenium Auction General Sale (No. 31) featured one of the rarest NWPI stamps:

1915-16 NWPI opt on Kangaroo Second Wmk 2½d Indigo, SG 87, showing watermark line at base, red staining as usual, hinge remnant, RPSL certificate (1968) along with paperwork relating to its purchase from Belknap in 1969. A great rarity
