Is this a forgery?
 Member Jeffrey Marks raises the following question:-
have a copy of a Queensland postal fiscal with a difficult-to-see Samarai BNG obliterator cancellation, picture attached. Is there someone in the Society who has done a study on the obliterators including any fiscal stamps or is it in fact a forgery? I have referred to my texts (Rosenblum, Croaker, Lee) and many years of auction catalogues without success. Hoping you can put me in the right direction. |
