Redstone Families

21st Century REDSTONE Families. Many REDSTONE families can be directly traced back to John REDSTONE who lived on the Isle of Wight in the 16th Century. Other REDSTONE families probably owe their roots to another John REDSTONE who lived in Devon in the 16th Century. One can speculate that the 1281 William REDSTONE, and his association with Isabella and her estates on the Isle of Wight and Devon, was the common ancestor of these two John REDSTONES. A third group of REDSTONE families are those who have settled in England over the past 100 years or so and came originally from other European Countries. Presumably they took the name REDSTONE as a translation of their original name. REDSTONES around the World. There are REDSTONE families living in such countries as America, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Nearly all of these families have ancestors who came originally from England.
