Organised by the Rotary Club of York
An annual event run and controlled by Dragon Boat Events Limited, professional dragon boat racing specialists.
On the River Ouse in the centre of York
A Spectacular Event
Featuring the largest flatwater racing canoes in the world
A fun day for the teams and spectators
Funds are raised for charity each year. The chosen charity for 2008 was the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. This was the sixth year the race has been run. Over £300,000 in total has been raised for local charities over the previous five years.
