HELLO,my name is connie sorsby and i have been researching my husband's family tree, i have found that he's greatgrandfather john thomas sorsby was born york england 1857, he was a iron moulder by trade and married a eva adaelie dorling around 1880 their first son percy sorsby was born 1881 their second son wilfred l.sorsby born 1882 frederick sorsby born 1884 daughter ivy sorsby i do not know when she was born.. i'am trying to locate any family members that are still in england..eva sorsby was district nurse in hunslet for 24 years..she was born colchester 1860. john thomas brought his 2 oldest sons to the U.S.A. in the late 1880's they stay with his parents in pittsburg pa. while he looked for work but he never was heard from again..the sons went back to england until 1905 when they came back to the U.S.A. they settled in west virginia and both were glassworkers...
