The Prior of Nostellgave the Church at Weaverthorpe to the Dean and Chapter of York Minster who became the Rectors, and are still Patrons , now jointly with the Archbishop of the living.

A Vicarage was “ordained” at Weaverthorpe. The chancel windows were enlarged and the porch added.
