Tyke Petroleum York Men's Tennis League

Countdown to the 2010 Season

Some Club Courts are notoriously tight at the back, but this one's taking the proverbial...

TEAM APPLICATIONS ARE DUE IN, NOW!
Teams Entered for 2010 so far: 26 / 56

The Winter Solstice is long gone, as is the snow (what was that all about?) and the nights are steadily getting lighter. It can only mean that we're climbing back into the sunshine and the start of the new Tennis Season.

STEP ONE: Club Secretaries need to send in their APPLICATION FORM for team places for the new Season. This needs to be done by FEBRUARY 27th, please - but sooner would be better!

*** IMPORTANT: The applications have already been E-MAILED out (25th January) to the Club Secretaries on my list from last year.

If your Club has changed Club Secretary, or he's changed his e-mail address in the last year, then you need to e-mail me IMMEDIATELY to give me fresh contact details for your Club. Click on the Mail Form link in the left-hand margin.

It's only once ALL the Club applications (and payment!) have been received that...

STEP TWO: ....the FIXTURES can be compiled (which is far easier said than done, and takes a wee while).

Step two is the bit everyone is interested in. "Which Division are we in this year?". "Who are we playing, and when?".

So... the sooner you can get the application forms submitted, with all the contact details completed, then the sooner the fixtures can be published and we can enjoy our new Season.

GET THOSE FORMS IN NOW - or get in touch immediately if you've any problems or queries.

2010 is going to be a good one!

32 Clubs - but where are they?

The extent of the Men's League. Circles represent radial increments of 5 MILES from York City Centre
