Yorkshire Grades 2007 - 100% Pass Rate For Wetherby Gymnasts

This years Yorkshire grades were run over two weekends.

Club Grades 6 and 5 were hosted by us (Wetherby Gymnastics Club) and the girls performed with style and confidence in front of the home crowd.

In Age Grade 6 wetherby had 3 gymnasts, Alice Morbey achieving third place and Martha Milson placing ninth.

Out of Age Grade 6 wetherby had 7 gymnasts, Ruby Cocoran achieveing third place, Olivia Bolsher eighth position and Amy Sleight ninth position.

In Age Grade 5 wetherby had 6 gymnasts, Ellie Boulton Champion! Katie Rogers fourth position and Safiyah Asmat ninth position.

Out Of Age Grade 5 we had 2 gymnasts, Jade Hutchinson second position.

Club Grades 4,3,2,1 were hosted by Diamonds Gymnastics Club in Halifax.

Wetherby were represented by two gymnasts at grade 4 Gemma Carty and Katie Emmett who placed 14th and 15th respectively. Both gymnasts were well prepared but falls on the beam lowered their overall positions.

At Grade 3 wetherby were represented by Sam Stones and Kirsty Allen who came 10th and 13th. Once again were let down by falls from the beam!

Grade 2 - Wetherby were represented by only one gymnast, Pascale Woods. But it was Quality not Quantity that counted here. Pascale performed without fault. She became the Grade 2 Champion qualifying for the National Finals at the end of April. This was a super achievement. Pascale missed the Grade last year due to a last minute injury that took a lot of hard work and persistence to overcome. Well Done Pascale!

Grade 1 - Once again Wetherby only had one representative Katie Studholme. She performed without error and placed fifth. Good Result Katie.
