York Natural Environment Trust (YNET) was set up in 1988 by a group of concerned individuals who were worried about the plight of the green areas of York.
Our aim is to conserve, protect and enhance the natural environment of York.
YNET now own one site, directly manage two more and liaise with Friends Groups all over the city.
We also have regular meetings with the City of York Council officers to make comment on applications and issues affecting the green environment, as well as commenting on strategic planning documents.
We meet formally on the last Tuesday of every month (apart from december) at St Clements Club, Count de Burgh Terrace, South Bank, York at 7:30 p.m.
