How to find the YORK KENSHINKAN KARATE CLUB
York Kenshinkan karate club trains on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Cannon Lee School, Rawcliffe Drive Starting at 7 pm and finishing at 9 pm. The club has no formal age limits, but members are expected to be able to train for the full session.
The first night's training is free and we regard this as an introduction to the club. This allows you to understand what Karate training involves. Training will become very hard and strenuous and this must be clearly understood from the start.
To start with a proper karate suit is not essential, clothes that allow free movement are quite sufficient.
(You will require a Karate suit for your first grading about 3 months after you start.)
After this first night a low annual membership fee is charged and the training sessions are £3.50 for those in work and £2 for those not in work.
The club is non profit making and no memeber of the club receives payment of any kind, except for expenses incurred in the administration of the club. |
