FOR ALL WALKS – please come suitably equipped for the day’s walking, which may be rough in places,
and the possibility of changeable and inclement weather.
You should also bring sufficient food and drink for yourself for the day’s walk.

All bus/train times were correct when printed (June 2008) but may subsequently change.
Please check before setting out.
We have come to realise that you need quite a bit of patience and flexibility when planning walks using public transport, which is prone to last minute changes. However, we shall never leave earlier than stated and will possibly shorten or do an alternative walk using a later bus/train if found necessary.

In line with RA policies our Area is not the only one organising public transport walks. Check out what's happening in other areas by going to the Group WalksFinder page on the national Ramblers website at www.ramblers.org.uk
You should also check out the following websites for details of other organised walks using public transport :-

www.transpeakwalks.co.uk
www.hvhptp.org.uk
http://www.dalesrail.com
http://www.dalesbus.org

The latter website has many links to other sites and Groups which offer car free walks.
