From its humble beginnings in 1933, the York Vale Cricket League has recently enjoyed significant growth and with 50 teams playing in five divisions it now plays a vital role in the recreational cricket structure of North Yorkshire.
Sponsored by leading accountancy firm HPH, the League encompasses an area bounded by Malton, Selby and Tadcaster, with York at the hub.
The 2008 playing season spans from 26th April to 6th September inclusive: league fixtures being played mainly on Saturdays interspersed with the following cup competitions on Saturdays for some of the early rounds and then on Sundays: See the diary for the full details.
